As an 11-16 school, it is important that all students are supported in making choices for their post-16 education, employment or training. Post 16 pathways are discussed with all students and impartial advice is provided to ensure that each student makes the most appropriate choice for them.
Independent Careers Advice
All students in Years 10 and 11 receive support and guidance from a qualified careers guidance counsellor. In their one-to-one meetings students are supported and guided in their post-16 choices, to ensure they are provided with impartial guidance to enable them to make effective choices when they leave The Oaks Academy.
To deliver this package of support we use an external company called Mploy
